Shi Shi Beach is on the Pacific Ocean along the northwest coast of Washington.  Access by kayak can be challenging because of the local rocks and surf and the distance to paddle there and back,  but very rewarding if you can make it.  Shi Shi beach is a beautiful and peaceful slice of wilderness.
