The Chesapeake Blue crab can be found all along the Atlantic coastal waters.I was excited to paint this fellow because of the beautiful colors on his shell and pinchers, and how he complimented the colors of the beach and tide.
I live near the salty waters of Puget Sound in Washington state and love to go poking around in tidepools when the tide is out. All sorts of creatures, including crabs, live in our marine environment and it's fun to watch them as they scurry around their own little ponds.
These are high quality giclee reproductions that are printed on fine art paper and come with a white border. They generally arrive at your home within 2-3 weeks of ordering, ready to be matted and framed. Most of the available sizes will fit standard frames with mats that can be found at any store or online site. When choosing a frame, the mat size should be the same as the reproduction size, and the final frame size is generally 4 - 8” larger on the width and length, depending on the size of the reproduction.
Prices for unframed reproductions include shipping.
